The skinny: Celebrity chef Susan Feniger brought her tasty, worldly street food (Thai bites, Japanese Shizo shrimp, Moldavian meatballs, Indian semolina cakes, Paani Puri from India, Korean vegetable dumplings, etc.) from her aptly-named Street restaurant on Highland Avenue to a former archdiocese cathedral built in 1876 in downtown Los Angeles. MILK, a local favorite known for its desserts, provided various novelties and frozen delicacies. DJ Samantha Ronson and Mary J. Blige entertained the guests, who left with Cole Haan-designed gift bag filled with an assortment of high-end products.
